Workplace Zero Abuse Tolerance Policy


1) Purpose

We are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and healthy workplace for all employees, contractors, and visitors. This policy outlines our zero-tolerance approach to any form of abuse.

2) Scope

This policy applies to all individuals in the workplace, including employees at all levels, management, contractors, clients, and visitors.

3. Zero Tolerance Statement

Any form of abuse or inappropriate behavior is strictly prohibited. This includes:

  • Physical abuse or threats of violence
  • Verbal abuse (e.g., insults, shouting, offensive language)
  • Bullying or harassment (including repeated negative behavior)
  • Discrimination based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any protected characteristic
  • Emotional or psychological abuse
  • Sexual harassment or misconduct

4. Expected Behaviour All individuals are expected to:

  • Treat others with respect, dignity, and professionalism
  • Communicate in a constructive and appropriate manner
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment

5. Reporting Procedure

  • Employees are encouraged to report any incidents of abuse immediately
  • Reports can be made to the owner directly
  • All complaints will be taken seriously and handled promptly and fairly

6. Investigation Process

  • All reports will be investigated confidentially and impartially
  • Appropriate action will be taken based on the findings

7. Consequences of Violations Any breach of this policy may result in disciplinary action, up to and including:

  • Formal warnings
  • Suspension
  • Termination of employment or contract
  • Legal action where applicable

8. Protection from Retaliation Retaliation against anyone who reports abuse or participates in an investigation is strictly prohibited and will result in disciplinary action.
